I don’t know about you, but sitting down with a foamy coupe of espresso martini and a plate of meats and cheeses sounds like a pretty ideal night to me.
A spressie and cheese go together like the perfect end-of-evening pairing. The sweet with the salty. The bitterness with the creaminess.
But would you ever combine the two - in the same glass?
Tiktok’s viral Parmesan espresso martini recipe has divided the internet. Many have given the recipe a go just out of pure curiosity.
Here at Three Beans Threads, we won’t settle for less than the best espresso martini. So we had to test this out to see if it could be held to our high standards.
The Process:
The recipe was pretty straightforward. We combined the ingredients that amount to a pretty typical espresso martini recipe. Some include a half ounce of sherry, but we didn’t. The Parmesan shredding felt so wrong but…….
The Product:
It was so visually appealing! The shaved cheese stayed afloat on a thick foam. It was perfection to look at.
The Verdict:
We rate the Parmesan espresso martini a 7.2/10.
The combination and balance of classic ingredients just felt right, although we did feel it missed some sweetness.

Here is the recipe:
1 shot of espresso
1 oz. Coffee liqueur
2 oz. Vodka
Pinch of sea salt
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass.
Shave Parmesan over the top of the foam until lightly covered.
Sip and enjoy!
